The stuff does not fix the brain. And you can't fix the brain until basic needs and safety are truly met, consistently, for a long period of time. It's so fucking exhausting.

From this perspective, you're on that slow, slow incline to start. Even while you make progress in the beginning you WILL have lots of times where you're still not hitting basic needs. But you ARE making progress. You're at the point where you're setting up your infrastructure to actually support all of the ropes you'll climb. You're moving.
